暑假，我们来到里中国的首都——北京。
今天，我们去了天安门广场。他是世界上最大的广场。走进天安门广场首先映入眼帘的是雄伟的英雄纪念碑。它的南面是毛主席纪念坛，两旁有人民大会堂和中国国家博物馆。
我们不仅参观了天安门广场，还看了天安门广场上举行的升旗仪式。升旗仪式开始，从天安门城楼里走来了一队国旗护卫队，走在旗护卫队最前的是升旗手和升旗手。国歌响起，升旗手将鲜艳的国旗抛出，国旗慢慢的升起。国歌演奏完毕，国旗出刚好升到旗秆的最顶端

Tian'anmen Square is one of the largest squares in the world. It covers an area of 440,000
square meters. On the north is the red Tian'anmen Gate Tower. On the south is Chairman Mao's
Memorial Hall. At the center stands the Monument to the People's Heroes. On one side of the
square is the Great Hall of the People and on the other side is the Museum of Chinese History.
A lot of people from all over the world come to visit the square every day.
